Ashcombe Sporthorses, LLC’s proven program offers outstanding training and care as well as a low-key, friendly environment in Ocala, FL. We welcome horses and ponies for training, showing, and sales, as well as horse and rider pairs who would like to learn and show with our team.
We are centrally located just 3 miles from World Equestrian Center Ocala off of 40. Our barn features spacious 12x12 European-front stalls, four covered grooming stalls, four outdoor hot/cold water wash stalls, a spacious aisle, and a large tack room with security cameras. We also offer small turnout paddocks with automatic waterers. We have a large outdoor arena with a full course of jumps, a smaller stone-dust arena perfect for grid work, and a large jump field.
Our program has more than 30 years of experience in developing both horses and riders for sport in the Hunter/Jumper ring, with horses and riders that have gone on to find success in the Grand Prix Jumper ring, as well as at the U.S. Junior Hunter Championships, Zone 2 Championships, USEF Pony Finals, Maclay Finals, Devon Horse Show, Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Washington International Horse Show, and the National Horse Show. And, while we are performance-minded, we also care about developing willing partners for their owners who are happy in their work.
Our staff is provides the highest level of care to our client’s horses as they do our own. We work closely alongside our vet and farrier partners, Purina and Bowman’s Feed, CWD and Michelle Kirsch, Springs Equine Performance Services, Nupafeed and Complete Equine Performance to ensure that each horse and pony maintain optimal health and fitness levels for their required job.
