A boutique Hunter/Jumper training, sales and boarding facility.

While the Ashcombe Sporthorses name is new, our home of Flower Farm in Glen Rock, PA was established in 1986. Named after Sweet William, a special horse who inspired a dedication to breeding horses with spectacular talent, conformation, and bloodlines combined with rideability and heart, Ashcombe Sporthorses continues the legacy that Flower Farm began more than 30 years ago.

Flower Farm offers a premier training facility with outstanding care in a low-key, friendly environment. Our training barn features oversized stalls (standard size is 12 x 14; foaling stalls are 14 x 18), a hot water wash stall, spacious aisles, heated bathroom, and a large tack room with security cameras. We offer 50 acres of turnout comprised of large rolling pastures, enormous run-in sheds, and automatic waterers. Flower Farm has a bright and airy indoor arena with oiled, washed sand footing for year-round training options and a 100 x 200 lighted outdoor arena with a full course of jumps.

We are uniquely set in a prime location, close to many of the nation’s top shows, including Devon, Harrisburg, Capital Challenge and WIHS.

Our Ocala, FL location is planned to open in January 2020 and is centrally located to HITS and the World Equestrian Center opening in 2021.

Our staff, led by barn manager Teresa Jones, is meticulous in providing the highest level of care to our client’s horses as they do our own. Teresa and our training staff work closely with our vet and farrier partners as well as Tribute Equine Nutrition to ensure that each horse and pony maintain optimal health and fitness levels for their required job.
